Born in Trenton New Jersey, Duan Kellum is an Edartivist (educator, artist and activist). Kellum’s predominate mediums are screen- printing and stenciling. He first entered the art scene in 2003 with a graphic t-shirt called, “Freedom is Slavery” based on a passage from the George Orwell classic, 1984. The primary focus of his works consists of social, environmental and political themes. His works tend to utilize familiar iconic pop themes and images. He is co-owner of Creative Grounds Studio in San Bernardino, CA.
